Terms & Conditions

*Terms and Conditions for Participant Registration - ICT Olympiad Bangladesh*

** All selected participants for the gala/final round held in Dhaka must bear their own travel and other expenses.

1. Eligibility:

  • Participants must be residents or citizens of Bangladesh.
  • Participants must belong to the specified age group (age min5 -max 35) or education level as per the competition guidelines.

2. Registration:

  • Registration fees, if applicable, must be paid within the specified deadline.
  • Failure to pay the registration fees within the designated timeframe may result in cancellation of registration.

3. Fees:

  • Participants must register for the ICT Olympiad Bangladesh through the official website or designated registration channels.
  • Online Registration forms must be completed accurately, providing all required information.
  • Any false information provided during registration may result in disqualification from the competition.
  • All payments refunds will be as per our Refund Policy
  • For any unusual circumstance the ICT olympiad can postpone the operation or event and will not be liable to return any amount for registration.
  • Event registration fees are only for event platform charges. Course/Class/Books/sessions/Mock Test/Exam activity can be free or others charges.

4. Conduct:

  • Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner throughout the competition.
  • Any form of cheating, plagiarism, or unethical behavior will result in immediate disqualification from the competition

5. Intellectual Property:

  • Participants retain ownership of any original work or intellectual property created or submitted during the competition.
  • By participating in the competition, participants grant the organizers permission to use their name, likeness, and submit materials for promotional purposes related to the ICT Olympiad Bangladesh.

6. Liability:

  • The organizers of the ICT Olympiad Bangladesh will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by participants during the course of the competition.

7. Disqualification:

  • The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant found violating the terms and conditions of the competition.
  • Disqualification may occur at any stage of the competition, and the decision of the organizers will be final.

8. Refund Policy:

  • *Full Refund:* Requests submitted on or before November 8, 2024, will be eligible for a full refund of the registration fee (excluding transaction charges). *Partial Refund (Special Cases Only):* Requests submitted between November 9, 2024, and November 20, 2024, will be eligible for a 50% refund of the registration fee (excluding transaction charges). *No Refund:* Requests submitted after November 21, 2024, will not be eligible for a refund.

9. Acceptance 1:

  • Agree and read carefully all the Event Rules for event registration.

10. Acceptance 2:

  • Agree and read carefully all the Terms & Conditions, and Privacy Policy for signup.

11. Material:

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they have access to necessary materials required for the competition, such as computing devices, internet access, and relevant software. Any unauthorized materials or aids used during the competition may lead to disqualification.

12. Acceptance:

  • By registering for the ICT Olympiad Bangladesh, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions and agree that any decision taken by ICTOB management will be obeyed by any type of participant.

13. Winners participation:

  • Winners of last season will not attend the final round (current season) as well. But they can participate as complementary in the ongoing season.

14. Acceptance:

  • The ICT Olympiad Management reserves the right to change, amend, or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances. By participating, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
